I follow comedian Sommore on Instagram and she had a post where she proclaimed she is CHANDELIER STATUS!  I love it!  That means she's at the top of the top!! LOVE IT!  That made me laugh so hard.  Just like the t-shirt she's wearing.  Well then!!

I got the chance to visit St. Louis ROYALTY last week.  The Imos.  YES, those Imos....the square beyond compare Imos....the best cheese on a pizza ever Imos!

The Imo family matriarch, Margie, hosted an event to benefit Variety The Children's Charity of St. Louis.  Super sweet family, lovely home and just all around good people.  I also got a chance to hang out with some of the Imo grandkids....here's the biggest shout out ever.....

Today's My Personal Soundtrack is very special to me because I'm interviewing my mother, Charlene Marr.  She's my biggest fan and I love her for that.  I love talking to her about her memories of my grandmother and family.  She just lights up and I'm transformed to the place that she describes, as if I was there with her.  In fact, she's part of the reason that I decided to do My Personal Soundtrack...because I knew that if she felt so convicted and alive when she told me memories about her life, wouldn't others?  My Personal Soundtrack is my version of an oral history featuring everyday people and their lives.  I'm honored to be a mere morsel in my mother's full life.  Here's a little sneak peak of her charismatic and infectious personality.  I am blessed to be her daughter.  Enjoy!
