In this new year everyone is trying to lose weight or just improve their wellness.

 

Nutrition – Proper nutrition is the foundation of good health and recovery.  95% of all diseases and illness are nutrition related.  Feed your body well

 

Exercise – Action is the law of life.  Muscle tone and strength are lost without exertion and use of those muscles.  Exercise improves the health of the body, and spirit, multiplying vitality and health. 

 

Water – Because the body is 75% water, keep well hydrated and knowing what and when are essential to health. Water enhances the circulation and immune systems in wonderful ways

 

Sunlight – The sun is the established energy source ordained by the Divine to sustain the cycle of life for plants and animals.  Sunlight is supremely important for the body’s metabolism and hormonal balance

 

Temperance – Using all things in moderation.  Self-control is as important as breathing.  Never overdo anything.

 

Air – The body’s most essential resource is air.  More important than food and water, proper breathing and fresh air are fundamentals to good health. 

 

Rest – Restoration requires rest because sleep will allow the body to renew itself.  Both mental and physical rest are both important for health. 

  Trust in Divine Power – Trusting in the divine power is directly to physical health and it is the gift to leading to the right choices

Davena Wellington is a AFAA/NFPT certified Personal Trainer. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, and is a lifestyle and wellness coach.
She is also CPR certified. Davena has taught aerobics for over 25 years. She has worked with Bally’s, Club Fitness and the YMCA.  She helps people lose weight, improve their health and feel better about themselves.
