Boy, 12, Suspended for Haircut (UPI) - Twelve-year-old Zachary Sharples' "Rayhawk" hairstyle resulted in his suspension from middle school, The Tampa Tribune reported.
The hairstyle, better known as a Mohawk cut, got its name because several Tampa Bay players sport the haircut as they battle in the American League playoffs.
Zachary was suspended from Lincoln Middle School in Palmetto, Fla., earlier this week because of the "Rayhawk," the newspaper reported.
Zachary said he's not cutting his hair, yet.
"I'm not shaving it off until they win the World Series," he said.
The Rays qualified for the post-season for the first time since their inception in 1998 after winning the American League East Division this season.
Ok so dude has a mohawk...So what, it's his style! Im trippin of the fact that it looks like he got a tattoo on the back of his neck..oh well, thats another story.

R&B star Usher is hoping to turn up the heat in America's bedrooms with his own lingerie line.
The hitmaker was spotted at the Marlies Dekkers runway show at Paris Fashion Week in France over the weekend, where he confessed he was seeking inspiration for his own saucy garments.
The singer says, "I'm launching a lingerie line for men and women."
He insists "comfort and intimacy" will be key in his new line.
The first samples will feature in his new video Trading Places.
Usher isn't the only R&B star getting ready to launch a lingerie line - Janet Jackson will unveil her Pleasure Principle lingerie in November.
Hey im not mad at him. If its sexy, I rock it. I tried real hard to find some of this supposed lingerie that he was coming out with but I had no luck. Guess we wait for the video to "Trading places" for the debute of Usher's new line.

Acclaimed Australian director Rowan Woods had to fight to keep Oscar winner Forest Whitaker in his new film 'Winged Creatures' after a film company executive dismissed the actor as "ugly, black and unbankable."
Despite having "the hottest ensemble cast in town," including Guy Pearce, Kate Beckinsale, Dakota Fanning, Jeanne Tripplehorn and Jennifer Hudson, Woods said the company who owned the script wouldn't accept Whitaker as a leading man. 'The initial finance fell through when I stuck with Forest Whitaker for the role of Charlie,' Woods said.
"An executive told me straight: `Even if he wins the Oscar he's ugly, he's black and he's unbankable.'"
Speaking at the Australian Directors Guild conference in Sydney this weekend, Woods said the company, which he wouldn't name for legal reasons, eventually let go of the script because of their disagreement over Whitaker.
The budget on 'Winged Creature's dropped from $US11 million to $US4.5 million because Woods wouldn't consider a Michael Douglas or an Al Pacino for Whitaker's role. "The unbankable part of it was nearly right," he said.
"They wanted everyone but Forest Whitaker ... and this is one of the best actors on the planet." By the time we had stacked the cast around Forest the asking price for the movie had more than halved from its initial level."
'Winged Creatures' centers around a random shooting in a Los Angeles diner, and how it affects the lives of those who witness it.
