Bey praises her husband for helping her “on so many levels” and her daughter, Blue Ivy:
“You balance being the fierce woman with obviously a woman who adores and loves her man,” Winfrey tells Beyonce, which can be seen in the clip above. “Absolutely,” Beyonce said before praising her significant other. “I would not be the woman I am if I did not go home to that man. It gives me such a foundation.”
“We were friends first for a year and a half before we went on any date—on the phone for a year and a half. And that foundation is so important in a relationship. Just to have someone that you just like is so important. Someone that is honest.”
Winfrey’s Beyonce interview airs at 8 p.m. Saturday on OWN, with the singer’s HBO documentary “Beyonce: Life Is But A Dream” premiering 9 p.m. that night.
