When your next level is calling you, it's not uncommon that all of your fears and shortcomings are brought to the forefront of your life all at once.  When this happens, you may get scared of your next level and begin to question whether or not you have what it takes to succeed at the level you see yourself.

I'm here to tell you that you do have what it takes or it wouldn't be your dream!  And it's ok to have those feelings of fear and inadequacy, as long as you allow them to point out the areas where you may need more development in order to succeed.  Feel the feelings, honor them, let them point out where you may be weak, and then let them go and get to work!

There is a reason that people and circumstances come along and stretch you beyond your comfort zone, and it's all about preparation. Don't get caught up in the discomfort, push yourself beyond it!  It's natural to feel a little uncomfortable with, and some times even afraid of your next level, especially if your vision is grand.

So when the stretching happens, when you are forced to face your fears and when all of your shortcomings are brought to the forefront, don't run and don't shrink back.  Take an honest and realistic look at everything that you are and everything that you aren't so that you can see what you are going to have to adjust in order to succeed.

Realizing your fears and your shortcomings should not stop you from moving forward!  It should encourage you to do whatever it takes in order to overcome those fears and develop your skills so that you can accomplish your heart's desire!  When you're transitioning from one level to the next, there will always be a part of the process that feels a little uncomfortable, don't let that stop you!  Simply evaluate where you are and realistically assess what you need to develop in order to successfully transition into the next level of your life!  -love, sj
