ST. LOUIS -The Missouri Department of Transportation has multiple work zones scheduled downtown over the weekend and next week. All lanes on westbound I-64 will be closed from Broadway to 21st Street Thursday and Friday from 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., each day. One lane of eastbound I-64 remains closed from 20th/Chestnut to 14th Street around the clock until November. The I-70 express lanes into downtown are closed until repairs can be made to the eastbound gates. The gates, and lanes, will remain closed for safety for drivers and for construction workers within the express lanes during non-rush periods. The department is currently anticipating the lanes will remain closed for about the next three weeks. For additional work zone information, go to modot.org.
