Steinberg Skating Rink in Forest Park will open today 10:00 a.m. for the ice skating season. 

“We are inviting all skaters to come by the rink and help us celebrate the opening of the ice skating season,” said Anne Kasak, rink operator.  “We have a new canopy of lights that bring the stars right down to the rink.” 

Steinberg, the largest outdoor rink in the Midwest, is open every day, including holidays.  Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:00 a.m. to midnightFriday and Saturday. 

The skating fee is $6.  Skate rental is $4. The entrance fee is for all day and is only for skating. The rink has free Wi-Fi and has added new televisions and coin operated lockers.

 The skating rink has full food service with a menu that includes appetizers, snacks, sandwiches, burgers and pizza. Seating is available both indoors and outside by the rink.  

Special rates are available for groups (except on weekends), and reservations may be required based on availability. Skating lessons area also available.
