Beloved actor Michael Clarke Duncan will be seen in his last movie performance this week.

The film “In the Hive,” is opening in a limited release across the country. It is produced and directed by Robert Townsend and is based on the true story of an alternative school for troubled youth in North Carolina.

The story focuses on the street-hardened character Xtra (Jonathan McDaniels) who’s sent to the Hive, a school for boys with behavior and scholastic problems. Duncan plays an assistant worker at the school by the name of Mr. Hollis.

Also starring in the film are Loretta Devine and Vivica A. Fox, who plays Xtra’s mother.

“In the Hive” opens in select theaters starting December 14.
