Maxwell is definitely keeping his fans on their toes lately.
For the past several weeks, the R&B crooner has been sharing subtle hints of what is to come on his upcoming release, SUMMERS’, his long-awaited follow-up of the 2009 album BLACKsummers’night.
Maxwell has shared ‘photo clues’ on his instagram account as well as tweets of the partial tracklist. He recently took to his facebook page to share a 40-second snippet of a song from the album entitled, “GODS.”
The lyrics: “the unsaid is known / in spite i can’t let it go / the answers don’t ever make no sense when the questions are up to you / if you want you can fly you can float / you can walk, you can do what you want / but if the smallest seed of feeling is left with you / you will see you were wrong.”
No word from Maxwell yet on an official release date, but from the looks of it, we can expect for it to come very soon.
