R&B singer Ginuwine's wife, former rapper Sole, lost her mother to heart complications in a Kansas City home on Thursday. She was in her mid-50’s.
Ginuwine expressed his gratitude for the support and prayers from his fans, tweeting:
“I don’t do this when it comes to situations like this, but I have to thank the abundance of [fans] who have reached out during this tragedy. Thank you all for the love you have shown my wife and me—this has been such a tremendous loss and painful day…you all have truly shown love.”
Sole made a brief statement on Twitter about her loss:
"Won't be on Twitter for a while... I'm devastated. My mom passed unexpectedly early this morning. I'm sick crushed devastated beyond belief.”.
