Fantasia is demanding a formal apology from Jet Magazine for using a decade-old photo of her as the cover an upcoming March issue. The singer is upset with the photo’s use because it does not represent her new look.
Fantasia expressed her emotions in a statement, saying "After I send them the NEW LOOK AND DIRECTION. SAD!!! I WANT A PUBLIC APOLOGY FROM JET. Now I’m not sure if the interview is correct.”
The "Lose to Win" singer is preparing for the release of her fourth album 'The Side Effects of You,' the first project since giving birth to her son Xavier Barrino. The Jet Magazine feature story was supposed to unveil her new look and attitude, but appears to be a setback.
Despite her being displeased with the photo’s use, she is determined to put it behind her and press forward.
She added: "It's a minor setback for a major come back! I'm giving you all of me and that's Rock and Soul!!!"

Fantasia's album "The Side Effects of You" is expected to be released sometime in March.
