Happy 80th birthday Quincy Jones!

The music icon has won more Grammy Awards than any other artist in history (79 nominations, 27 wins), and has been the driving force behind a host of films and TV themes. His industry collaborations include span across every genre: from Michael Jackson to Frank Sinatra; from Miles Davis to Amy Winehouse.

In addition to founding Vibe magazine, he is also a renowned philanthropist who has done a lot for poverty-stricken Africa and founded the "Quincy Jones Listen Up Foundation," intended to help troubled youth through technology and music.

Next month, AXS TV will air a special birthday gala in honor of the legend that will see tributes by Bono, Carlos Santana, Stevie Wonder, Whoopi Goldberg, Terrence Howard and many others.
