Several months ago, I settled down to meditate and was reminded that I have to love myself better. See, I know what it takes to feel good and at peace in my body and my life, I just don’t do it consistently. From the food I put into my body, to how often I exercise, pray and meditate, it all shows me how much I love myself. So the fact that I know what to do, yet continue to be inconsistent, that lets me know that there is a subconscious blockage within me that is keeping me from loving myself fully. I can greatly improve my overall satisfaction and happiness in life just by taking better care of myself, we all can!
I believe that we all have the potential to experience tremendous joy and peace in our lives; we just don’t do what it takes, and like me, a lot of us know what it takes, we just don’t do it. But at some point, I think many of us will finally get so fed up with the pain we create in our own lives, fed up with not feeling good physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally, that we will realize that in order to feel better, we have to love ourselves better, and that means taking better care of ourselves, our WHOLE selves…mind, body, spirit, emotions. –love, selena j
