Dear Tony,

My fiancé and I have been together for 6 years, and we’ve been living together for 2 years. We’ve been putting money away for a wedding and a house, but my fiancé lost his job about 7 months ago. We both go to church, but it’s starting to bother me that we’re not moving towards getting married. He doesn’t want to get married until he lands a job. I want to get married regardless of this, but he’s not trying to hear that. Is it wrong for me to not want to wait for a job to come along for him? I love him regardless of this.
