Dear Tony,

I have been married for a long time. My issue is, with family gatherings, lately we have been separated by his family. We have some major issues with his family. They've been in our relationship since day one. But I over came those obstacles and just moved forward.
I married him and not his family. I feel as though he's allowing his family to separate us, and not respect us as one. When I asked him about this, his thought was you go to your family and I go to mine for family gatherings. I don't think that's fair and I'm beginning to question his loyalty and respect for me. When you extend an invitation, it is extended to both. Do I leave things as it is, or is it time for you go your way and I go mine.
