I've been dating this guy for 8 months. He's a good guy it seems. I just read a book about making great decisions and I decided to do a background check on him.  It turns out that he is a convicted sex offender. He commited statutory rape on a 15 year old and he was over 30. I have 2 kids, a 7 year old girl and an 11 year old son. You cannot imagine how in shock I was to see his picture on the sexual offenders website. He has not told me anything about this. What should I do? I've never asked a man that I've dated if they were a convicted criminal. I guess I should start. Should I confront him with my new found information or should I just leave it alone? I am very tempted to cut him off.
