Two teenage girls are accused of spiking milkshakes with prescription sleeping medicine to knock out their parents as part of a conspiracy to skirt the family's ban on Internet use after 10 p.m. The teen and her friend offered to treat her parents to milkshakes, went and bought them, brought them home spiked. The parents drank about a quarter of the shakes, which tasted odd, before pouring them out. Awaking the next morning and struggling to recall the events of the previous night, the parents confronted their daughter, who confessed to drugging them on two separate occasions. The girls were sent to juvie.
