Dear Tony,
 
I am a middle aged divorced male and I have been involved with my girlfriend for quite sometime and everything is going smoothly. She gets along great with my young daughter and my family and friends love her and I believe her family and friends feel the same about me. Unfortunately Tony there is one issue with her. She has a drinking problem. I have not told any of my friends and family about her struggles with alcohol. She's a functioning alcoholic.  I don't know if there are programs that can actually work to correct her alcohol abuse or if I should just cut my losses and move on and find someone else.
