Two thieves planned to rob Wrights Jewelers in Beaudesert, Australia on New Year's Eve, but they knocked through the wrong wall and ended up inside the KFC next door. Dwayne Doolan and Peter Welsh allegedly made the best of their situation, by robbing the KFC restaurant instead. The men threatened workers with a metal bar and one of the employees opened a safe where about $2,600 was held. The alleged thieves then fled on foot, but were soon apprehended by police. Read more
