When Joseph Smith and his wife Lillie took their son on his first outing to the Kohl's in Fayetteville, everything went smoothly until Joseph dropped his wife's wallet.

"As I folded up the stroller, the wallet falls out of the top part of it," Joseph Smith said. "Of course I didn't see it, it was pouring down rain, and I was hustling to get everything in the car."

The next day, Joseph Smith realized the wallet was missing. He went back to Kohl's and got the surveillance video from Jan. 1.

"(The woman in the video) kind of stops, looks down, picks up the wallet, then walks into the next set of doors standing in front of the entrance," Joseph Smith said. "She opens up the wallet and starts handing out what's in it to her kids. There was about $100 cash and 200 to 300 dollars in gift cards." Read more
