Dear Tony,
My relationship didn't workout and we split up. I was paying for daycare and had/still have insurance on him before social services got involved. I found out that my son was getting medicaid and I have my employers's insurance on him since he was born. I went to social services and put myself on child support, then I got a letter from her case worker for child support. The result was $428 a month and for me to keep insurance on him. She came to me about having a hearing for more support so I agreed to the hearing and she bad mouthed me to social services. I still decided to help her in the best interest of my son, so my child support went up from $428 to $660. I just recent I found out that my son is not going to daycare. She tells me that she can do what she chooses with that money and she is planing on moving to another state. I'm against my son leaving the state. As his father what can I do? How can I get 50% custody of my son?
