A 29-year-old man was arrested in Orlando on suspicion of trying to force his fiancee to swallow her diamond engagement ring because she no longer wanted to live with him. The woman told police that while arguing with Faron Thompson about moving out, she realized she'd left the ring on the kitchen counter. When she went to retrieve it, Thompson allegedly held her down and tried to force it down her throat. He also allegedly shoved her up against a wall and tried to cover her mouth to keep her from breathing—all while she was holding their 1-year-old son. Finally, after threatening to burn her home down, he forced her and the child out of the apartment.
