Dear Tony,
I have an 8 year old daughter. Her father hasn't been much of a father to her. I've never stopped him from being in her life. He may call once or twice a month or we may see him 2 to 3 times a year for maybe 10 minutes and that's only if we run into each other. But recently he called and says he wants to start being a father to her. He is not very consistent with anything concerning her. Should I give him another chance and allow him to come into her life and let her figure out on her own that he's no good or just tell him to stay out of her life completely? I haven't mentioned anything to my daughter about her dad wanting to visit. She never asks so I don't ever say. What do you think?
