fox2now.com - The man accused of shooting an art school financial adviser in the chest has a long wrap sheet in the city of St. Louis. Sean M. Johnson, 33, is the person police believe walked into the Stevens Institute of Business and Arts and shot Greg Elsenrath, a long-time employee, and then turned the gun on himself.



Court records indicate Johnson may have a mental health background as well as a criminal background. In 2009, Johnson was charged with Second Degree Assault and Unlawful Use of a Weapon after he pleaded guilty to attempting to assault a cab driver.

He was sentenced in 2011 to five years in prison for that incident, but his sentence was suspended and Johnson was ordered to take prescribed medication.

Johnson was supposed to serve five years on probation, but it was lifted just 10 months later in May 2012. Read more
