huffingtonpost.com - CeCe Bruce said she's known for years that it pays to be nice. But she never realized just how much it could pay off until this week, when one of her regular customers rewarded her with a huge tip.

A part-time student at Martin University in Indianapolis, Ind., Bruce has worked as a waitress at a local Steak 'n Shake restaurant for two years, according to NBC affiliate WTHR. Though she had received a few generous tips during that time, nothing had prepared her for the generosity of Miss Jo, a frequent patron of the restaurant.

When Bruce first picked up Miss Jo's credit card receipt Wednesday morning, she said she thought the tip was $46, which she told WTHR would have been surprising enough, given that the bill was just $5.97. But the tip was actually a jaw-dropping $446.

"When I looked again, I said 'Oh my gosh, Miss Jo, I'm not taking that!' And she said, 'Yes, you're taking it,' Bruce told WTHR. Read more

huffingtonpost.com - When Dorian Joyner Jr.’s dad told him that he would soon be joining him at Morehouse College, the freshman thought it meant that his father would be coming for a visit.

In actuality, his father meant that he would soon be joining him as a student at the Atlanta campus, he told WXIA-TV.

The younger Joyner and his father, Dorian Joyner Sr., will both be graduating from Morehouse College this Sunday after spending three years together on campus. President Barack Obama will be speaking at the ceremony.

While the elder Joyner initially attended the school from 1984 through 1988, he dropped out early to build his career, according to a profile on the Morehouse website. Years later, after his oldest son had began attending Morehouse, he decided he wanted to re-enroll and complete his degree. Read more

tmz.com - Jermaine Jackson couldn't BELIEVE it when he heard his nephew Taj's claims that a family member had molested him as a child -- telling TMZ, "I've never heard that. I've never ever heard that."



As we reported, Taj Jackson -- one of Tito's sons -- made the announcement on Twitter today, claiming an uncle on his mother's side of the family sexually abused him as a child ... and Michael Jackson counseled him through the trauma.

Taj says he made the announcement in an attempt to discredit Wade Robson's abuse allegations against MJ, claiming, "That is how I KNOW Wade is lying. Because I AM a survivor."

Taj added, MJ "was a support system for me and my mom" during the abuse ordeal.

Taj believes Wade is making up stories about MJ in order to score a payday from the Jackson estate. Source

The rapper just posted a photo to his Instagram page ... showing off the jacked physique he built while serving out his 2-year sentence in a NY prison for attempted illegal gun possession and tax evasion.

Mohammed Ahmed, 21, allegedly left his blushing bride in their luxury suite so he could meet up with the hooker he’d spotted online — but she turned out to be an undercover cop.



Ahmed was busted — alongside 92 other alleged johns, pimps and hookers — as part of the Polk County Sheriff’s Office sting. Ahmed’s wife woke up to find her husband missing. When she called the cops, they told her he wasn’t missing — he was busted.

Ahmed and his new wife, from Illinois, were on vacation at the Omni Hotel in Champions Gate last week. He answered an ad and sneaked out to pay for sex. He was also allegedly in possession of marijuana.

2,400 rolls sounds like a lot of toilet paper. But that big a shipment flew off the shelves in just a few hours at this store in Caracas, the Venezuelan capital.

“We send each other text messages. I just got one telling me “there’s toilet paper! There’s toilet paper!” And I left the office running to buy some toilet paper because I ran out.” said Venezuelan Consumer Daleydis Ravelo.

Some consumers harshly complain. They have to stand in long lines for hours just to buy a product they used to take for granted. Read more
